  • Are the teachers native Italian speakers?
Yes! Ms. Maria-Vittoria is the main and full-time teacher. She was born in Italy and relocated to London to teach here. Any part-time teachers are only employed if they are born and qualified in Italy. All our teachers have at least a degree in a relevant subject and hold qualified teacher status in both Italy and the UK.
  • When can I start my lessons?
For 1-2-1 sessions, you first book your free assessment. During the assessment, you agree on a schedule with your teacher to decide when to start. For group classes, it depends on when the class at your level runs. We need a minimum of 3 students to start a new class. If no class is planned, we add you to our waiting list and contact you as soon as a class is available.
  • Is there a grammar test required?
In short, NO. The assessment is an informal way for the teacher to find out if you have any previous experience studying Italian. It is not a test, especially since it wouldn't make sense for real beginners. We are more interested in why you want to learn Italian and how you learn best.
  • What are the payment options for my course?
For 1-2-1 lessons, we prefer weekly payments in arrears. For group studies, we ask for monthly payments in advance. If you are preparing for an exam, we send you an invoice every month. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash, but you can use various online and traditional banking systems like Monzo and Revolut to make the payment.
