About the Course
If you love Italian Opera and wish to immerse yourself in the language as well as the music, the Language for Opera Lovers Course is just right for you. After careful assessment, you will be assigned to a course taking into account your starting level, your goals and the course duration. We design the course around one opera per session and we will cover the major areas. This is not a simple translation of the text but we will guide you through the real meaning of the words chosen and why a variation may be needed to fit with the music. The explantion is always followed by listening to selected recorded tracks of the opera, thus completing the understanding with the pleasure of hearing the words as they sound.

Vittoria Telo
Born in Italy and relocated to London in 1988, Vittoria has been teaching Italian Language and Culture. This course has been designed together with her brother who currenly runs Opera appreciation courses in Rome.
